Boron based new high entropy alloy superconductor Mo<sub>0.11</sub>W<sub>0.11</sub>V<sub>0.11</sub>Re<sub>0.34</sub>B<sub>0.33</sub>

Abstract Superconducting high entropy alloys (HEAs) are new members of disordered superconductors. We report the synthesis and investigation a superconducting alloy Mo 0.11 W V Re 0.34 B 0.33 (MWVRB). It crystallized in tetragonal CuAl 2 crystal structure with space group (I4/ mcm ). Comprehensive transport, magnetization heat capacity measurements confirmed bulk type-II superconductivity having transition temperature T C = 4.0 K. The low electronic specific suggests fully gapped state weak coupling limit.
